After Meg is rejected for a date, she seeks comfort from her family. Lois decides to help by taking her to the mall for an amazing makeover. At the same time, Peter attempts to form a band with his friends, but their initial performance flops. In a surprising twist, the whole family ends up taking the stage instead. Meg's singing catches the attention of a record producer, who signs them on. Their newfound fame leads them to an unforgettable appearance on "Saturday Night Live."
