Walter and Maude are excitedly preparing for their second honeymoon in Italy, but on the day of their departure, Maude receives a tetanus shot that causes an unexpected rash. She rushes to the doctor’s office, where she finds a distracted physician who prescribes her medication without providing any instructions on its use. This oversight leads to an accidental overdose, forcing them to cancel their long-awaited trip and raising the possibility of a malpractice lawsuit.
