Frustrated with her life alongside her mother and stepfather, Carol seeks a father figure for Phillip and contemplates marrying a man she has no feelings for. At the same time, Maude and Walter are discovering that marriage isn’t as idyllic as it appears, as a heated argument between them results in chaos in the kitchen.
