At Anna Dumonet's wake, a prominent figure in the Sainte Victoire theatre, Jeremy and Judith find themselves in attendance. Jeremy takes the opportunity to introduce Jean to Anna’s daughter, Vivienne, who works as an antiques dealer, and her stepfather, Jules, a theatre director.
