Episode Overview

Paul Nichols, a veteran member of the Cosa Nostra, has spent over three decades managing the mob's illegal gambling network. After killing Denton, a fellow Mafia member who was skimming profits, Nichols finds himself in hot water since the hit wasn’t approved by the Cosa Nostra's commission. To make matters worse, he now possesses "the book," a crucial list of codes for the gambling operation. The FBI, tipped off by an informant, suspects Nichols might be involved in a high-stakes poker game. Erskine teams up with Doc Cameron, a former gambler nearly killed by the mob, who also received an invitation. Erskine poses as Cameron's "silent partner." Meanwhile, the Cosa Nostra's commission plans to hire hitmen to eliminate everyone at the poker game and seize "the book."
