Episode Overview

Dick is in the running for a prestigious grant, but things take a turn when he and Mary receive chain letters. After Mary tosses hers aside, she finds herself plagued by a string of unfortunate events. In a bid to turn his luck around, Dick turns to superstitions and charms for assistance. Meanwhile, Don treats Tommy and Alissa to a few ice hockey games he purchased during his relationship with Sally, but Tommy starts to doubt his own masculinity in comparison to the players. Meanwhile, Sally and Harry visit a hardware store, where Sally is drawn to several employees, while Harry is mistakenly thought to work there because of his bright orange shirt.
