Episode Overview

Assumpta is skeptical about the church, and during the village's annual slave auction, she finds herself sold to Father Mac, who shares her low opinion of her. This arrangement forces her to host two visiting priests and a Bishop, leading to tension when Father Mac discovers Father Peter serving drinks as Assumpta’s "slave." Meanwhile, a newcomer, Enda O'Sullivan, arrives in BallyK and is set to be Assumpta's romantic lead in the local play. After Enda injures his ankle during rehearsals, Father Peter steps in, creating an awkward moment that Father Mac witnesses. Brian insists that Enda must reprise his role for the show to proceed, but with Dr. Ryan's help, Enda recovers just in time for opening night, leaving Peter frustrated.
