Episode Overview
Brian's new business idea to attract investors from Korea involves leveling a local natural treasure, which doesn't sit well with the community. The townspeople organize a protest at the site. Peter hesitates to take a stance initially, but Assumpta confronts him about his indecision. Realizing she’s right about Brian’s intentions and his own suppressed emotions, he begins to reflect. One night, while alone on the protest site, Peter hints at his feelings for Assumpta. However, he soon reminds her that he is still a priest and is heading off on retreat, prompting Assumpta to make a significant choice. Meanwhile, inspired by Donal and his girlfriend Sue Ellen, Eamonn finds himself smitten with Kathleen. With Sue Ellen's help, he prepares to approach her, despite knowing she's a tough nut to crack. Niamh convinces her father to spare the beauty spot from destruction.
