The identity of the winner remains a mystery, leading to suspicion and tension among the usually peaceful residents. Meanwhile, Ambrose embarks on a risky undercover assignment in Cildargan, prompting Niamh's understandable concerns. Peter is in Manchester to visit his ailing mother, while Father Mac’s superiors pressure him to uncover the winner’s identity, hoping for a financial windfall for the church, which disgusts him. As greed consumes the community, it’s ultimately discovered that the lucky ticket belongs to a tourist. Siobhan and Brendan also start to navigate their evolving relationship.
