Niamh and Ambrose's relationship is crumbling, and in his frustration, Ambrose begins to enforce the law strictly on others. Unsure how to mend their marriage, his situation worsens when Niamh opens up to Sean about her struggles. Meanwhile, Kathleen receives a significant package from an ex-boyfriend. Aidan decides to orchestrate a reunion, recalling how she lent him money for his move to England, only for him to vanish without a word, leaving her dreams of marriage unfulfilled. Donal becomes Liam's superior after pitching a money-making idea to Brian—retrieving and selling golf balls from the lake. However, their efforts yield unexpected items, including a piece of a Russian satellite, while they struggle to find the golf balls. As Niamh spends time in Dublin, Kieran becomes a handful for his caretaker, leaving Siobhan overwhelmed.
