During the bustling harvest season in Breinton, the local church ladies are busy preparing a stunning display for the festival. While everything seems idyllic on the surface, new deacon Matthew Cashmore recognizes the urgent need to attract new faces to the village. He’s eager to share Breinton's bounty with the homeless and less fortunate, despite the community's hesitance towards them. Meanwhile, Vicar Nicholas in the Black Mountains focuses on nurturing connections, hoping a wedding ceremony will inspire both the couple and their guests. Back in Breinton, Matthew’s colleague Ruth suggests that the church should reach out to those who aren’t attending, with the village Bonfire Night serving as the perfect opportunity.
