As Sang-hyuk approaches his crucial "metamorphosis," he discovers Baek-ryeon's true identity, leaving him bewildered. Baek-ryeon, worried about the uncertainty of Sang-hyuk's transformation, fears he might vanish for good. Meanwhile, Jae-hee stumbles upon a painting of Sang-hyuk and So-hee, prompting him to seek Sang-hyuk out to learn the identity of the woman depicted in the artwork.
