After a marine officer on Arlong's payroll seizes all the money Nami has collected over the years to eventually purchase her village from Arlong, the villagers reach their breaking point and prepare to fight back. Nami desperately urges them to reconsider, fearing for their lives. However, witnessing Nami's pain spurs the Straw Hat crew into action, and they decide to make their way to Arlong Park to confront the situation.
