Episode Overview
In a blend of "The Paper Chase" and "I Love Lucy," Hart receives a challenging paid task to index Kingsfield's new essay collection, with an impossible deadline looming on Monday. Simultaneously, Ernie tasks him with managing the tavern for the weekend while he’s away. Meanwhile, Willis Bell, the disorganized member of their study group, becomes fixated on his unflattering photo on Kingsfield's seating chart, convinced it's the reason he's always called on first. Determined to change it, he concocts a plan to sneak into Kingsfield's office. Despite the chaos at the tavern and the pressing index, Hart unwittingly joins Bell in this misguided escapade, playing the role of the supportive sidekick.
