Title: Echoes of Quietude/Cyrano de Bricker/Murder on the High Seas Plot: A vocalist seeks to convince his manager to abandon the sensationalist approach that brought him fame, wanting his true artistry to shine through. His resolve strengthens when he develops feelings for a deaf friend of Julie's. Meanwhile, Doc finds himself in a dilemma as an old acquaintance grows frustrated with her husband’s gambling habits, which overshadow their relationship. Additionally, Isaac becomes convinced that a couple is plotting to kill Captain Stubing. Initially dismissed as overly engrossed in his mystery novel, both the captain and Gopher start to share Isaac's growing concerns.
