Episode Overview
As everyone brainstorms ways to celebrate Ahmad's 12th birthday, Maxine feels hurt when Ahmad suddenly decides to host the party at Teri's house. Bird offers to bake the birthday cake, but this doesn't sit well with the group. Ahmad is anxious about whether K.C. and Reggie will welcome his new friends from Lakeside Prep. Meanwhile, Kenny desperately hunts for the video game his son craves, but when he follows Lem's advice to buy it "hot," he ends up in jail. There, he's interrogated by a tough detective and becomes cellmates with a dangerous psychopath. After a near-death experience, Kenny is finally freed but is so upset with Jack and Lem that he refuses to accept the gift he initially went after.
