Episode Overview

Following the death of reporter Pat Allen at the Daily Sentinel, who met his end at the claws of a leopard, Britt Reid uncovers a transmitter hidden inside a cigarette box. Subsequently, D.A. Scanlon reveals to Britt that a flawless diamond was found on Allen's desk. As Reid investigates further, he learns that the gemologist had been engaged in the creation of synthetic diamonds.
