S03E01 The Armoured Might of Lance Corporal Jones
Episode Overview
Mainwaring has been instructed to work more collaboratively with the ARP wardens, but this proves challenging due to their newly appointed leader. Meanwhile, Walker negotiates with Jones to facilitate the transportation of rationed items without police interference. The arrangement allows the platoon to use Jones's butcher van as a troop carrier and ambulance during the day, while Walker takes it at night. In exchange, Walker promises Jones petrol coupons. However, the situation quickly spirals out of control, complicating their plans.
