Episode Overview

A family nearby is heading out of town and has asked Dana to house-sit. Carol feels uneasy about Dana leaving, but Frank convinces her it's a good opportunity for Dana to prepare for college. Everyone struggles to adapt to the change. To help Dana feel less lonely, Cody gives her his plant, Gordo, so she can have someone to converse with. Meanwhile, JT grumbles that Karen and Mark aren’t giving him enough grief. Frank realizes he misses Dana as if she were his own daughter. Ultimately, Dana realizes, after chatting with Gordo, that she really dislikes being alone.
