Episode Overview
Carol expands her extensive collection of "first" photos by capturing Dana's first day at East Wisconsin University. However, Dana feels slighted after receiving a “D” on her English paper, prompting varied reactions from those around her, including Al’s cheeky remark about another photo opportunity and Mark’s boastful declaration of being the smartest. Carol points out that while Dana is bright, her ego is inflated, reminding her that there's someone smarter just outside—hinting at their driveway’s SAT champ. Dana later apologizes and vows to adjust her attitude, only to discover that Cody has been accepted at "Cheese Wis U" and is now enrolled in all her classes. Meanwhile, JT gets a credit card and, despite Frank's caution, racks up $20,000 in charges, including a mink coat that Carol can’t resist. When they return the items, Carol struggles to let go of the coat, prompting Frank to take matters into his own hands by blending JT’s next credit card.
