Following a disappointing report card, Zack resolves to find a shortcut to better grades without putting in the effort. When Bob, a classmate with dyslexia, joins the school, Zack hatches a plan to feign having dyslexia himself for extra time on tests and reading assignments. Simultaneously, London triumphs over Maddie in a chess match, igniting Maddie's determination to best London in their next encounter.
