The vibrant Lithuanian city of Vilna, referred to as the "Jerusalem of the North," was a significant hub for Jewish culture until the devastation of World War II, during which the Nazis exterminated nearly 95% of its Jewish residents. Presently, a global team of archaeologists is working to uncover the remnants of the Great Synagogue while also on the hunt for a hidden escape tunnel that Jewish inmates had constructed within a Nazi killing ground.
