A perilous amulet, featuring a micro-circuit known as the Zip-Chip, has surfaced on the black market. RoboCop takes action to dismantle the gang behind this illicit trade, only to find out that the gang's leader is none other than Clarence Boddicker, the man responsible for RoboCop's transformation from human officer Alex J. Murphy into a cyborg. As the confrontation unfolds, RoboCop confronts his past while battling the present threat posed by Boddicker and his criminal organization.
