Episode Overview
Erica introduces her boyfriend Julius, a star of a children's television show, to her parents, Hilton and Ruth. Hilton is less than impressed and makes things awkward for Julius. To support her boyfriend, Erica goes with Hilton to watch the show, where Hilton accidentally becomes part of the action. Eager for her parents' approval, Erica finds Ruth unresponsive, while Hilton reveals that Julius wants him to join the cast. During a conversation, an actor named Happy Haliday claims Julius has cheated him out of royalties. Enraged, Erica confronts Julius and ends their relationship. Hilton, now portraying Cowboy Bob, believes he’ll be fired but Julius reassures him it’s just a minor disagreement. In an effort to help Erica, Hilton locks Julius in a trunk during a taping, but Happy has plans of his own.
