S04E02 Lex Luthor Strikes Back
Episode Overview
Lex Luthor devises a cunning plan to impersonate Lois Lane using a reverse camera projector, allowing him to escape from prison. Alongside his assistant, Orville Gump, he plots to eliminate the Super Friends with the help of malevolent fire demons from the Sun. They manage to capture the Super Friends and ensnare them in deadly traps. To further their scheme, the demons alter the Sun's color to red, stripping Superman of his abilities. However, the demons betray Luthor, trapping him in flames. To save himself and Earth, he releases the Super Friends, who spring into action to extinguish the fires. Superman pilots the Super-Mobile to chase the fire demons back into the Sun, restoring its natural hue and regaining his powers. Ultimately, Luthor and Orville are sent back to prison.
