Episode Overview

Sue travels to Juarez, a vibrant Mexican city that forms one half of a bustling super-city alongside El Paso, Texas. There, she encounters individuals whose lives are intertwined across the border, including Gabriela, a single mother raising her children in El Paso while her husband, Adrian, remains in Juarez due to his undocumented status. Each weekend, Gabriela takes her kids to the border to spend time with their father. However, she cannot cross into Mexico herself until her immigration paperwork is sorted out, and in the past six years, she and Adrian have only managed to share a brief 15-minute reunion.
