Abby discovers that her ex-husband is now in a serious relationship, which leads her to navigate their evolving family dynamic. She feels the absence of Trace as she works through the new co-parenting situation with Wes and his girlfriend. With work responsibilities pulling him in different directions, Trace misses important family moments with Abby and the girls. Meanwhile, Mick and Megan's relationship continues to develop, albeit shadowed by their history. Jess adjusts to David’s return to the bed and breakfast after months of independence. Bree also faces challenges as she tries to define her mixed professional and romantic connection with Simon. At the Chesapeake Shores Fire Department, Kevin enjoys a week of training with Sarah. In another corner, Nell enlists Connor to look into a contestant breaking the rules in a gardening competition, but an unexpected revelation leads her to reconsider her approach.
