Concerned about the state of his career, Ryan heads to New York with Steven for an audition to host a national show, arranged by Anne. Meanwhile, the group expresses their dissatisfaction with their sessions and directs their frustrations at Lauren, leading Yolanda and Sonia to invent a major issue for her to resolve. When both of these plans fall apart, the group discovers a new sense of resilience stemming from their setbacks.
