Kitana and Mileena, both stunning and athletic, have always believed they were sisters, trained as elite assassins. However, Shao Kahn, the Emperor of Outworld, has manipulated Shang Tsung into serving him in Mortal Kombat by creating a clone of Mileena, making her a Tarkatan counterpart to Kitana. This deception stems from Shao Kahn's fear that Kitana would reject him if she learned the truth about her true parentage.
