Episode Overview
The aging Barquentine desperately holds onto his dominion. In a moment of rage, Steerpike sets him ablaze, suffering severe burns in the process. Seizing control of the castle, he continues to pursue Fuchsia's affections. Flay returns from his banishment, aligning with Titus to confront Steerpike. They discover him amidst the remains of Clarice and Cora, leading to a deadly confrontation where Steerpike murders Flay and escapes. As Titus searches for him, Fuchsia chooses not to conceal Steerpike, ultimately taking her own life. The stage is set for a fatal showdown between Titus and Steerpike.
