Episode Overview

The premiere of Couples Therapy takes a dramatic turn as rapper DMX and his estranged wife Tashera engage in a heated argument. Meanwhile, MTV's Jersey Shore star Angelina and her boyfriend, celebrity chef Chris Nirschel, find themselves in a late-night confrontation that stretches into the early morning hours. Thankfully, Dr. Jenn and Dr. Mike manage to diffuse the tension, facilitating a productive group therapy session. Later, a new couple joins the group, bringing a fresh twist to the dynamics. However, after a particularly emotional session, DMX refuses to participate in a required group meeting, unleashing his frustrations on Dr. Jenn and the filming crew.
