Double Michelin-starred chef Michel Roux Jr and MasterChef judge Gregg Wallace are searching for an aspiring chef eager to rise in the culinary realm. In the first semi-final of MasterChef: The Professionals, the eight chefs who triumphed in the quarter-finals must prepare one flawless dish to secure their place in the competition. Each contestant will choose a dish they feel truly showcases their culinary skills. Michel Roux Jr and his sous chef Monica Galetti will taste and evaluate the creations. Ultimately, only six chefs will advance, while two will be eliminated from the race.
