The top chefs of the week are back for the quarter-finals, and the competition intensifies. Their initial challenge is an Invention Test with an unexpected twist. The quarter-finalists must whip up a remarkable dish using nothing but kitchen scraps and trimmings. Instead of the high-quality ingredients they're accustomed to, the judges task them with creating culinary masterpieces from leftovers, including bones, vegetable trimmings, fish skins, overripe fruits, cheese remnants, and stale bread.
