In the semi-finals, Marcus Wareing and Monica Galetti send the first two gifted contestants to the Connaught Hotel in Mayfair, where they’ll work alongside the renowned French chef, Helene Darroze, in her prestigious two-Michelin-star kitchen. Having already established a successful Michelin-starred restaurant in Paris, Helene brought her culinary expertise to London in 2011, making her one of just nine restaurants in the city to earn two stars. The semi-finalists must quickly adapt to the high-pressure environment of Helene's focused and mostly quiet kitchen, each tasked with preparing one of her intricate and precise lunch dishes.
