Episode Overview

Vicar Dennis Sparrow, feeling downcast, struggles through the funeral of former Bayview resident Jimmy, finding it difficult to deliver the eulogy. Afterward, he confides in Tom and Diana about his dwindling faith. Meanwhile, Geoffrey has returned to Marion, but their relationship is rocky, prompting Dennis to offer his support in mending their marriage. Soon after, Geoffrey announces that he and Marion have moved in together in Wales. On another front, Baines is on the lookout for a wife and has a plan involving Jane, though unfortunately for her, she’s only seen as a helper, not a potential match.
