Newt takes the oath as student president with a vision of creating a relaxation area for students. However, former president Candy Smiles has different ideas and wants to form a pep squad. Cory, hoping to win Meena's affection, decides to join the pep squad. When Candy expresses interest and asks him out, he accepts, intending to stir jealousy in Meena.
