Elena Kiejliches, a Russian immigrant, was enjoying the American dream. At 36, she was the mother of two, married to a wealthy husband, and resided in a luxurious mansion in Staten Island’s affluent Toldt Hill area. However, her seemingly perfect life took a dark turn in March 2000 when her husband, Borys, suddenly disappeared without a trace.
