At 22, a dedicated teacher enjoys a fulfilling life with her loving husband and a rewarding position as the media director at Winnacunnet High School in Hampton, NH. Although she once dreamed of a television career, she finds purpose in working with teenagers. However, everything changes in May 1990 when she comes home to discover her husband's lifeless body, a victim of gun violence. Initially, authorities suspect a burglary gone wrong, but a surprising tip suggests a possible affair, leading to deeper investigations into her husband's tragic death.
