Magnus awakens in a state of confusion, surrounded by the wreckage of the Sanctuary and a city left in tatters, with no recollection of how it happened. As she explores the chaos, she’s suddenly confronted by a monstrous being, but is rescued by two armed men who incapacitate her and transport her to a deserted warehouse. After being drenched and left cold and weary, Magnus’s anxiety heightens when a battle-worn figure strides into the room, leaving her to dread what might come next.
