Animal rights activists have issued threats of violence in London, and the first target, the daughter of a lab owner, is now hospitalized. Gene instructs his team to work tirelessly until the culprits are apprehended. They begin their investigation at a prison, where Robin Elliot, a notorious animal rights activist, is incarcerated for a murder committed in the 1970s. Alex believes Robin has insights into the imminent attacks, but being isolated from the outside world complicates matters. Robin’s uncanny foresight raises concerns for Alex, who has heard ambulance workers discussing the situation, leading her to fear that hope for the victim's survival is dwindling.
