The Preston family, residing in Ashton-under-Lyne, are devoted members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, often referred to as Mormons. Seventeen-year-old Adam, the eldest of three siblings, is contemplating a two-year mission trip. When Stacey enters their lives, she experiences firsthand the challenges of being raised under the church’s stringent rules, which prohibit tea, coffee, alcohol, and enforce strictly supervised dating.
