Episode Overview

Alex Polizzi travels to Ramsbottom in Greater Manchester to assist Charlotte Belcher, who has been managing the 14-bedroom Grant Arms Hotel for two and a half years. Although the 19th-century listed property boasts a prime location, it has garnered a poor reputation, especially at the bar, attracting a rowdy clientele. Facing financial struggles that prevent renovations, Charlotte has recruited her husband and two children to help revive the hotel. However, her work-life balance is suffering significantly, and she hopes Alex can help increase the hotel's revenue while also allowing her to reclaim some family time.
