Episode Overview

Alex Polizzi travels to La Casa Hotel, located in the charming village of Torrox Pueblo near Malaga, Spain. The hotel is struggling with a dismal room occupancy rate of only 25 percent due to various challenges. Sisters Sarah and Karen are determined to make the hotel successful, as selling and returning home isn’t an option for them. However, a decline in tourism and the fallout from the Spanish economic crisis in 2012 have burdened them with significant debts, putting Alex in a tough position as she attempts to help them improve their situation.
