Alex Polizzi visits the Dukes pub in the quaint Bedfordshire village of Heath and Reach to assist Sarah, a mother of two, in revitalizing the establishment she purchased three years ago. After a promising start, Sarah faced a personal challenge that transformed her dream into a struggle. With her confidence shaken and focus lost, the pub's occupancy plummeted, leading to a decline in the business. Upon arrival, Alex discovers Sarah hiding away in the kitchen, staff idling about, and the atmosphere resembling more of a youth center than a charming country pub.
