Episode Overview
Title: Caroline and the Cat Counselor Plot: When Salty starts acting strangely, Mark suggests that Caroline seek help from a cat counselor. The eccentric woman, banned from working with people, surprisingly identifies the root of the issue: Richard’s deep-seated fear of animals stemming from a traumatic childhood experience. He reveals that after the deaths of a gerbil and a rabbit in his care, his teacher, Mrs. Fox, labeled him an "animal killer." Meanwhile, Annie, who has been set up on a blind date with an unusual forest ranger by her mother, assists Caroline in finding the retired Mrs. Fox to help Richard. Unfortunately, things don’t go as planned when Mrs. Fox unexpectedly passes away.
