Episode Overview
Annie embarks on a blind date with a former priest and is pleasantly surprised by the connection they share, especially when she discovers he has never been intimate with a woman but is eager to experience it. Meanwhile, Richard is trying to mend fences with Julia's wealthy father, who remains skeptical of Richard's intentions, believing he’s only after Julia's fortune. Caroline becomes increasingly convinced that Julia's dad is out to harm Richard, a notion Richard dismisses until he finds himself piloting a rapidly descending plane while Mazzone prepares to bail out. In another subplot, Del thinks he can enhance the punchline of Caroline’s latest cartoon, and he and Charlie scramble to retrieve it from the syndication editors before publication, resorting to antics that redefine the term "cartoon strip."
