Caroline in the City (1995)

Episode Overview

Caroline is shocked to find out that Del, who is fixated on getting a new Porsche, is actually paying Charlie to stay home to avoid any eccentric antics that could jeopardize his job. After convincing Del to let Charlie join a planning meeting, things take a nosedive when Charlie ends up getting fired. In response, Charlie decides to travel around Europe, and Del steps up by giving him the Porsche money as severance. Meanwhile, Richard helps Annie land a gig as a model for a cartoonist who quickly becomes romantically interested in her, but only when she dresses as the quirky sci-fi character from his comic.
