Caroline in the City (1995)

Episode Overview

Tensions between Richard and Annie escalate when Richard expresses a desire to attend an operatic recital that Caroline had previously invited Annie to. Their childish arguing irritates Caroline, prompting her to confront them loudly, which leads to her storming off the stage in anger. Desperate to mend things, Caroline sneaks into the star's dressing room to apologize, but ends up enjoying champagne and foot massages instead. Meanwhile, Del finds himself grappling with his morals after being invited on an executive charter jet trip, contingent upon convincing cartoonist Reg to add a white character to his black-only post-apocalyptic world. At the same time, two awkward animators develop a crush on Caroline but can't bring themselves to talk to her.
