Episode Overview

Detectives Hill and Walker encounter a four-year-old girl covered in blood, wandering alone by the roadside, which leads them to a horrific scene—a massacre that has claimed the lives of her entire family, leaving only her and her injured father alive. The case hits Harriet particularly hard, as it triggers painful memories of her late husband Matt's recent murder. To complicate matters, she learns through informal channels that the DPP plans to drop the murder charge against the woman accused of Matt's death in exchange for a plea deal for manslaughter.
