Tour of Duty (1987)

Episode Overview

The Viet Cong are wreaking havoc on American troops by utilizing their network of underground tunnels. During a recent mission, Anderson and his men set up a blocking position, but the enemy forces they pursue vanish into the tunnels. In the chaos, Goldman and Anderson mistakenly open fire on fellow Americans, believing them to be VC. Their unit later arrives at a village, only to face another ambush as the VC emerge from the tunnels and retreat just as quickly. In the fray, Taylor is injured and captured, forming an unlikely bond with a VC medic who seeks only to survive. Meanwhile, Anderson and Goldman venture into the tunnels, only to find themselves trapped by a cave-in.
